Richs Ice Cream II in Toms River

I walked in this place on October 1st 2019 around 4pm and the woman behind the counter was AMAZING! Friendly and sweet. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. Now I will only go to this place for ice cream!

This place is amazing... The ice cream and service are second to none. The fact that they only accept cash is inconsequential, and should not be even marginally considered when writing a review about an ice cream parlor. Considering that this person didn't even write the review properly and says, "don't accept cash?" When meaning to write "Dont accept credit?" makes it blatantly obvious that this review, as well as the reviewer, should be thrown to the curb. Great ice cream.Friendly staff.5 stars all around.

The best ice cream in the area! Excellent array of desert items. Friendly service. Family owned! Cash only. Free parking. No indoor seating. Some outdoor seating. Great stuff!

I can't say enough positive things about Rich's II! Their hard I've cream flavors are done so well and the cannoli ice cream is second to none! Our GO TO stop for ice cream. If you are looking for a different type of ice cream treat their flurries are also amazing! Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful soft ice cream

⚠️ Warning To Anyone with peanut allergies: I do not recommend this ice cream shop. I took my 8 yr old to have ice cream and she ordered cookie dough. As he was eating it she notices a creamy peanut butter taste and immediately spit it out. Her lips immediately swelled and had to rush to her mess. Cross contamination!!! Called them... no answer! Left a Facebook message and no response!!! Horrible!!!

Without a doubt the best ice cream I've ever had. You have to get the Take 5 flurry, though, that's their best item. The crowds are completely out of control, but they have a pretty good way of monitoring that

Ice cream isnt that special... Disappointed, the waiting system is also very bad, if you come in a group you each need to take a number...

Ice cream is OK but not great.

Absolute winner. Soft serve with mix ins are great. I'd argue that there are better scoopable / packed pint ice creams in the vicinity, but if you want soft serve this is the place to go.

So delicious. Tried chocolate, coffee and strawberry so far. Strawberry is loaded with fresh strawberries. Staff is friendly and super efficient. Can't wait to go back!!

The girls at Richs Ice Cream II next to Burger 25 are outstanding !! Smart, courteous, and impressive. I'm not surprised, the owner, Jean has always been very picky on who she hires and runs a tight ship. The home made ice cream is truly better than what the other locals serve. No ice cream parlor is cleaner than Rich's II. The prices are very reasonable, especially the 63 cent italian ices. The only recommendation would be to allow use of debit cards.

Good ice cream and very efficient service.

Meh. Service was Meh. Was hoping for the soft banana ice cream I had in my youth at the original but was disappointed.

Don't accept cash? Then the manager who must have been 16 had the worst additude when I said it was an inconvienice. Told me I was wrong and wouldn't even look me in the face just shrugged and said it's better for when it's busy in the summer. No it's because they don't want to pay the monthly fee of having credit/debit access in their store.

The girls are as sweet as the ice cream! The ice cream is homemade and fresh and delish! We love how clean it is!

Best ice cream around

Love love this place! Great ice cream, friendly staff and love the decor! I just wish they had some more outdoor or indoor seating, it's very limited. Also be careful in the parking lot, it is small. Two cars hit just the other day. Also they put an ice cream we ordered to take home to someone in their freezer to pick up after we finished eating ours on site, so nice!

I've gona there ever since I was a kid and I have to say this is one of my favorite places to get icecream. I am usually not a vanilla person but there soft vanilla icecream is probably the best vanilla icecream I've tasted and I eat like five pints of icecream a week (I have a high metabolism). So definitely go it's amazing.

No matter if you get soft or hard ice cream, this is your go to spot. They offer a variety of hard flavors, I was surprised they were the only place to have mint cookie crunch. It’s delicious. Soft ice cream is also amazing. I can’t wait to try their cannoli ice cream

Making banana boats they do not use gloves and uses her hand to wipe her nose while making our banana boats. That is not sanitary and we walked out because we were grossed out.

Loved it! I ordered hard coffee icecream with extra hot caramel. Terridic!!

Family-oriented ice cream shop with great service. The girl that took our order remembers all six of our orders without writing them down.

My favorite ice cream in town! My favorite is the cannoli specialty sundae. It's HUGE! You get a large mound of ice cream surrounded by globs of cannoli cream atop a bed of broken cannoli shells and chocolate syrup topped with chocolate chips and blanketed with whipped cream and cake crunchies. It's hard to finish, but an absolute dream for any cannoli lover. The soft vanilla is smooth and creamy. The fresh strawberry is also fantastic! It tastes like summer! I prefer the soft, but the hard strawberry is good too. The pumpkin is also really good towards the end of the summer/early fall.

Awesome Ice Cream parlor with nice variety of flavors. Hard and soft serve, Sundaes, Gelato, Cones, Flurry etc.. Lots of toppings to choose from. I found prices to be slightly higher then other places but, you should still check them out

Very good custard. A little bit pricey. But you will love their soft ice cream and sprinkles.

This was my first experience at Rich's Ice Cream Ii. I couldn't believe the choices of home-made ice creams and specialty combinations available... I thought I was in ice cream heaven! We went there on National Ice Cream Day on our way to a music program on a very hot summer night! Perfect for ice cream! I will say it's the best I've tasted... Go there!

Oh my goodness! I am an ice cream lover anyway. Plus, I live alone so I can cheat an eat ice cream whenever I want 😁👍 I stopped at Rich's and I cannot remember the exact name but it had caramel which I love. That ice cream was to die for! Rich's homemade ice cream is AWESOME!!

Delicious! A little on higher end for pricing but to be expected in a touristy area. Couldn't even finish my sundae it was so huge and delicious. Got the reese's! Would definitely get it again!
